Don’t get trapped in the tentacles of driving—take transit to watch the Seattle Kraken

The seas might be rough, but nothing deters a Kraken!

Coach Lane Lambert is ready to lead Jared McCann, Vince Dunn, Jordan Eberle and netminder Philipp Grubauer onto the ice for a new season of Seattle Kraken Hockey. Bring your energy but leave your car at the dock and use transit to make your trip to Climate Pledge Arena!

Remember that your ticket is a transit pass to Climate Pledge for the Kraken and all publicly ticketed events at the arena. Ticket holders, both season ticket members and those with a single-game ticket, can access Transit GO Tickets using the Seattle Kraken app to ride transit.  The passes can be used throughout your entire journey—across buses, light rail, Water Taxi, the Seattle Center Monorail and other transit.

This will be the first full season with Link light rail access from the south (Federal Way/Link 1 line) and the east (2 line) into downtown Seattle where you can connect to Metro buses or ride the Monorail to the Seattle Center.

Don’t be offsides! Plan your trip

New to riding transit? As you can see on our wayfinder map, there are 12 bus routes that connect to or will put you on a short walk, bike or roll from the Seattle Center and Climate Pledge Arena.

Start your rush on goal by visiting  Trip Planner. Another way to find the best routes is by calling Metro Customer Service on 206-553-3000 on weekdays, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Press 1 for an interpreter.)

Check on when your bus or train will arrive using your favorite transit app. Visit our mobile apps page to see transit apps operating in our area.
